TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover Taunton, Bridgwater, and Highbridge. The role combines local field surveys with a four-day week and minimal overnight stays, offering strong progression paths into senior roles.

Salary is £40,000–£45,000 with comprehensive benefits and a clear development plan. Applicants should hold BOHS P402, P403 and P404 and have a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Essential BOHS P402 qualification.
• Essential BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience as asbestos surveyor/analyst.
• Good knowledge of HSG264 and HSG248.
• Experience across domestic, commercial and/or industrial properties.
• Professional and confident when dealing with clients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys per HSG264.
• Undertake asbestos sampling and reinspection surveys.
• Conduct air monitoring and 4-stage clearance per HSG248.
• Work across domestic, commercial and industrial properties.
• Produce accurate asbestos survey reports and drawings.
• Transport samples to UKAS-accredited laboratories.
• Provide clients with specialist asbestos advice and technical support.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, quality teams and staff.
• Maintain high technical and professional standards throughout work.

Location: Taunton, Bridgwater and Highbridge

Salary: GBP40,000 : GBP45,000

Contract: Permanent Full:time

Hours: Monday:Thursday, 7:30am:5:00pm

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a leading national asbestos and environmental consultancy covering the Somerset region. This position offers a strong combination of localised work, minimal overnight stays and a four:day working week, alongside excellent opportunities to progress into Senior Surveyor, Project Management and Auditing positions.

The Role

About You

• BOHS P402 or equivalent : essential
• BOHS P403 and P404 or equivalent : essential
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
• Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying and analytical procedures
• Experience across domestic, commercial and/or industrial properties
• Good understanding of HSG264 and HSG248
• Full UK driving licence : essential
• Professional and confident when dealing with clients
