Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in Orpington. The role covers management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across domestic and commercial sites, with travel across the region.

A strong background in asbestos surveying and BOHS/ RSPH qualifications is essential. You will conduct air monitoring, sampling and 4-stage clearances, producing detailed technical reports and advising clients.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
• It is essential to hold BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalent).
• Good working knowledge of HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines.
• Flexible to travel as required by the company.
• Experience working to UKAS guidelines.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys.
• Re-inspection surveys.
• Safely collect asbestos samples from sites.
• Perform 4 stage clearances.
• Full air monitoring including reassurance, personal, smoke, leak and background.
• Fibre counting.
• Inspect and sign off asbestos removals projects of varying size.
• Produce detailed technical reports.
• Provide tailored advice and updates to clients.
• Wear correct PPE at all times.

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Orpington, Greater London

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £43k + Training & Benefits

A leading name within the Asbestos industry is recruiting in the South East of England. Due to recent contract wins, they are seeking an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to service a range of domestic, local authority and commercial contracts. It would be advantageous to be based with good access to the M25, for easier travel across the region. This role would suit someone who holds strong industry experience, who is seeking a move within a respected and busy outfit.
