Job summary

Franks Portlock Consulting Limited is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our UKAS-accredited team based in Yorkshire. You will undertake all branches of surveying and analytical works related to asbestos, including management, refurbishment and demolition surveys, and report writing.

The role requires BOHS P402/P403/P404 certificates or equivalent, at least 2 years of asbestos surveying and air monitoring experience, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Hold BOHS P402, P403 and/or P404 certificates or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in asbestos surveying and air monitoring.
• A valid UK Driving licence is essential, a company car will be provided.

The Role

Your main responsibilities as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst will be to undertake all branches of surveying and analytical works.

You will be responsible for

• Carrying out asbestos surveys; management and refurbishment and demolition type surveys
• Creating reports
• Building and maintaining customer relations
• Representing the company well at all times and in interactions with clients
• Conducting site walkthroughs and survey plans

As an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst you will…

• Have effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with contractors
• Have a strong work ethic
• Have strong IT skills
• Be conversant with current Asbestos & Health and Safety legislation and guidance
• Be flexible in your approach to working hours
• Be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
• Be competent in literacy and numeracy to construct accurate reports

Essential Qualifications And Experience

• For the Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst role the candidate must hold BOHS P402, P403 and/or P404 certificates or equivalent
• Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in asbestos surveying and air monitoring
• A valid UK Driving licence is essential, a company car will be provided
