Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join a leading environmental consultancy. This role involves conducting site inspections and air testing for asbestos, adhering to industry standards and legislation.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct site inspections and air testing for asbestos, primarily around the M25 area.
2. Perform air tests and 4-stage clearances following asbestos abatement.
3. Represent the company professionally on-site, providing strategic guidance.
4. Ensure compliance with UKAS, international standards, and UK legislation.
5. Maintain equipment, record data accurately, and manage samples.
6. Support the Technical/Quality Manager as needed.
7. Interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
8. Participate in quality control and audits.
9. Keep mobile lab and equipment in good condition.
10. Stay updated on relevant standards and legislation.
11. Complete assignments set by management.

Requirements

• BOHS P402, P403, and P404 or RSPH equivalent certification.
• Relevant experience for immediate consideration in the company’s QC/Audit scheme.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Understanding of occupational health and safety risks.
