Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a freelance asbestos surveyor for a 6-month contract to conduct commercial surveys across major UK infrastructure projects in London. You will perform Management and R&D surveys, collect bulk samples, and manage your workload to meet deadlines while reporting findings promptly.

Candidates must hold BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) and have post-qualification commercial survey experience.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) qualification is required.
• Post-qualification experience is strictly required with demonstrable and excellent commercial survey experience.
• Fully independent and autonomous role requiring initiative and ability to manage own work schedules.
• Provide own transportation, survey toolkit, and essential PPE including a half-mask with face-fit certificate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) surveys on various commercial properties and infrastructure sites.
• Take bulk samples of suspected ACMs accurately.
• Manage workload independently weekly to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure timely submission of survey reports and samples.

The Role:

Are you a freelance asbestos surveyor looking for a new contract opportunity? We have an exciting opening for a dedicated professional to conduct commercial surveys across major UK infrastructure projects. This is a highly unique role where no two days are ever alike, and great experience can be gained on this contract due to the diverse properties you will encounter.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) surveys on various commercial properties and infrastructure sites.
• Accurately taking bulk samples of any suspected Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs).
• Managing your own workload independently on a weekly basis to meet project deadlines.
• Ensuring the timely submission of survey reports and samples.

6-month contract outside of IR35.

About You:

• You must hold the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) qualification.
• A proven track record of post-qualification experience is strictly required, with demonstrable and excellent commercial survey experience.
• This will be a fully independent and autonomous role, therefore you need to be highly experienced in working under your own initiative and must be confident in executing your own work schedules.
• You must provide your own reliable transportation, survey toolkit, and essential PPE, including a half-mask with a recent face-fit certificate.
