Niyaa People Ltd is partnering with a growing contractor to recruit an Asbestos Surveyor covering the Midlands. This permanent, full‑time role offers hybrid working and a chance to inspect social housing properties across a varied portfolio.

You will complete asbestos surveys, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with current legislation and guidance, while keeping accurate records and coordinating site and home-based duties as required.

Qualifications

• P402 qualification.
• 1 year+ surveying experience.
• Social housing background.

Join a growing contractor as an Asbestos Surveyor, covering the Midlands. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business within social housing, completing inspections across a varied property portfolio.

The organisation has an established market presence and continues to secure new regional social housing projects. You'll become part of a developing compliance team, balancing site visits with home-based duties.

We'd like to hear from people who have worked as an Asbestos Surveyor, Consultant, Inspector, or within a comparable position.

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be:

• Completing asbestos surveys within social housing properties
• Preparing reports and relevant paperwork
• Following current legislation, standards and guidance
• Keeping records and inspection details accurate

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

• P402 qualification
• Previous surveying experience from 1year+
• Social housing background

The Asbestos Surveyor package includes:

• Hybrid working
• Permanent position
• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidaysSalary: £34,000-£38,000 depending on experience
• Location & travel:Based across the Midlands, with regional travel required. The position combines site attendance with home-based duties where suitable.
