Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our client in Norwich, covering the East Anglia region. The role focuses on surveying duties across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sector properties.

Requirements include BOHS P402, a minimum of 2 years' experience, and a full UK driving licence. The package includes £35,000-£40,000 (DOE), a company vehicle or car allowance, 22–25 days leave plus bank holidays, a pension, ongoing training,

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 certification is essential.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and asbestos legislation.
• Experience in a UKAS-accredited consultancy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Conducting bulk sampling across various property types.
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Surveying commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and public sector sites.
• Managing workload independently with support from an established operations team.
• Ensuring all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance.
