The Asbestos Surveyor is a key member of the City Building asbestos team, responsible for compliance with Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR 2012) and the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974). This role involves assessing and managing asbestos risks, conducting surveys, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Essential qualifications include a full clean driving license, proven experience as a trained surveyor within a UKAS-accredited organization, P402 or RSPH Level 3 qualification in asbestos surveying, and thorough knowledge of asbestos legislation and survey techniques.
