An established Health and Safety consulting group is looking to recruit an Asbestos Surveyor.

Position Objective

• To undertake asbestos inspections, surveys, sampling, or other associated activities of the company in accordance with legislation and guidance.

Qualifications & Experience

• British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) P402 – ‘Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos’ as a minimum
• At least 5 years’ experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in both verbal and written English

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking Asbestos Management & Refurbishment surveys and re-inspections
• Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients/customers
• Providing recommendations for remedial works

Attributes

• The successful candidate will be flexible and have an excellent work ethic.
• Ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Must be prepared to travel.

The role will suit individuals currently working as an Asbestos Surveyor Consultant and living within a commutable distance of North London, Oxfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and surrounding counties or be willing to relocate.
