Future Select Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor in Dumfries, Scotland. A proven track record in commercial/industrial surveys and strong knowledge of HSG and UKAS guidelines are essential.

You will conduct management, demolition, and refurbishment surveys, collect ACM samples, and produce detailed technical reports while meeting client deadlines and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent required.
• P403/P404 (or equivalents) preferred for analyst track.
• Proven experience as an asbestos surveyor on commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites to conduct management, demolition and refurbishment surveys.
• Carry out re-inspection surveys.
• Collect ACM samples from site.
• Produce detailed technical reports and schematic drawings.
• Be a key contact for clients, providing technical advice.
• Work to deadlines and adhere to safety legislation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients.

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Dumfries, Scotland

We are recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor, with a proven track record within the industry, who will be able to hit the ground running. Our client is a prestigious and respected name within the industry, who specialise in servicing commercial and industrial client contracts. This is a great role for those who would like to focus on complex and exciting client projects. We can consider candidates with either singular surveying experience or dual (surveying / analytical) experience. Experience / Qualifications:

• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• For analysts, you will also hold the BOHS P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
• Strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Fully conversant in HSG and UKAS guidelines
• Must have experience working on commercial contracts
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Attending client sites to conduct management, demolition and refurbishment demolition surveys

• Being a key point of contact for clients, answering technical queries and providing advice
• Working to agreed deadlines
