Job summary

Future Select Recruitment in Watford, Hertfordshire, is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to perform management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across the South East. You must hold BOHS P402 or RSPH and be signed off for all survey types, with strong IT/reporting skills.

The role offers excellent training and a competitive salary (£27k-£42k) plus benefits. Fundamental travel around the M25 is expected; prior experience in a UKAS-accredited environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent certificate
• Experience in a UKAS accredited asbestos surveys
• Knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines
• Signed off for all types of asbestos surveys
• Proficient with IT software and report writing

Responsibilities

• Conduct management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Serve a range of commercial, domestic and local authority contracts
• Perform reinspections as required
• Collect ACM samples from sites
• Produce detailed technical reports and floorplans
• Annotate existing schematic drawings
• Contact clients with survey updates
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Represent the company professionally

A UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy has recently won new commercial and domestic contracts in the South East of England. They are recruiting for a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their successful and highly regarded outfit. Ideally, applicants will be based in / close to the M25 for easier travel across the region. You must be signed off for all survey types (management, refurbishment and demolition) and will have strong technical knowledge. Experience / Qualifications

• Track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Good working knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines
• Signed off for all types of asbestos surveys
• Confident using IT software
• Good literacy and numeracy skill level

The Role

• Conducting thorough management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Servicing a range of commercial, domestic and local authority contracts
• Re-inspection surveys
• Collecting ACM samples from site
• Producing detailed technical reports and floorplans
• Annotating existing schematic drawings
• Contacting clients to provide updates after surveys
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
• Representing the company in a professional manner
