Job summary

Penguin Recruitment supports a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Aberdeen. The role covers both surveying and analytical work across commercial, industrial, public sector and residential properties in Aberdeen and surrounding areas.

You will deliver management and R&D surveys, air monitoring, four-stage clearances, and detailed reporting, while ensuring compliance with HSE guidance and UKAS standards.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 or P404 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Undertake air monitoring, four‑stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248.
• Produce accurate, detailed and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Collect bulk samples and maintain accurate site records.
• Work across commercial, industrial, public sector and residential properties.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS standards.

Penguin Recruitment supports a well‑established UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy in seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Aberdeen.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dual‑qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to work across a varied portfolio of commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties throughout Aberdeen and the surrounding region.

The Role

As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst you will deliver both asbestos surveying and analytical services to a high professional standard while ensuring full compliance with current HSE guidance and UKAS procedures. You will work independently and with an experienced technical team, managing a varied workload across multiple client sites while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
