Job summary

Acorn Analytical Services is offering an entry-level Asbestos Analyst & Surveyor Apprentice based in Cleckheaton, with UK-wide travel. You will shadow experienced consultants undertaking surveys, air monitoring, analysis, and project management for asbestos-related work.

You will work toward obtaining the P402/P403/P404 qualifications while training in-house and externally. The programme leads to progression into surveyor or analyst roles within a safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18+ and have the right to work in the UK.
• Must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
• Not be in full-time education.
• Apprenticeship will train towards Level 3 Asbestos Site Technician qualifications (RSciTech) and related BOHS/ROHS modules.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients for survey and monitoring tasks.
• Travel across the UK to undertake air monitoring and site works.
• Gather and analyse air samples following Health and Safety guidance.
• Report findings to clients.
• Occasional overtime, evenings and weekends as required.
