Job summary

Acorn Analytical Services in Cleckheaton is offering an entry‑level Asbestos Analyst & Surveyor Apprentice (Level 3). The 12‑month program starts ASAP, shadowing experienced consultants on surveys, air testing, analysis and project management across domestic and commercial sites.

You will train toward the P402 and P403 BOHS qualifications, travel across the UK, work on site in PPE, and develop practical skills while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• You must be 18+ due to the nature of the working environment.
• Full UK driving licence is required for this role.
• UK residency for at least 3 years is required.
• Applicants should not already hold a Level 3, degree or higher in a closely related subject, or have significant experience in the same field.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced Asbestos Consultants undertaking surveys, air testing, analysis, asbestos removal project management and consultancy with clients at various domestic and commercial sites.
• Travelling across the UK to undertake air monitoring and site works.
• Gathering and analysing air samples as per current Health and Safety guidance.
• Reporting findings to our clients.
• You will be required at times to work away, work evenings and weekends.
