Job summary

Life Environmental Services Ltd is offering a Level 3 Asbestos Analyst & Surveyor Apprenticeship. The role is site-based across Essex, with on-the-job training and a structured 12-month programme combining fieldwork and classroom learning.

You will learn air monitoring, fibre counting, and four-stage clearance, while working toward the RSPH Level 3 Award in Asbestos Air Monitoring and Clearance Procedures, with a mentor support and progression towards surveying and analytical roles.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or over
• Not be in full-time education
• Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
• Have the right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Carry out air quality and reassurance monitoring
• Conduct fibre counting
• Perform four-stage clearance inspections
• Undertake personal and compliance air testing
• Accurately complete certificates and reports
• Assist with asbestos removal project management
• Collect and label bulk material samples safely
• Undertake Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys
• Complete Priority Risk Assessments for clients
• Work across a range of property types (domestic, commercial, industrial)
• Ensure sample handling and data uploading follows company procedures
