Future Select Recruitment is seeking an Asbestos Quality / Technical Manager in Wolverhampton. The role focuses on maintaining quality and compliance within a UKAS-accredited environment, while actively supporting the company’s growth across the UK.

You will lead quality processes, audit completed works, and train staff, ensuring adherence to HSG guidelines and BOHS/RSPH modules. A strong emphasis on client liaison and ongoing professional development is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong track record as an Asbestos Quality / Technical Manager.
• Fully conversant with UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines.
• BOHS / RSPH modules (P401–P405).
• CoCa and CCP qualifications are advantageous.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintaining quality and compliance levels within a UKAS accredited Asbestos company
• Modifying and implementing improvements to quality processes
• Auditing on completed works to ensure compliance
• Successfully maintaining UKAS accreditation within the department
• Inducting and training new staff members
• Meeting with clients to discuss their requirements and provide technical advice
• Overseeing a team of technical staff
• Completing regular service reports
• Performing auditing on external training schemes
• Maintaining own personal technical knowledge

Asbestos Quality / Technical Manager

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £35k - £50k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued company growth, our client is seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Quality / Technical Manager in the Midlands region. You will be joining a privately owned outfit who provide the full range of asbestos management services, and are actively winning new contracts across the UK. We are seeking someone with robust technical knowledge and proven success of overseeing the maintenance of compliance within a UKAS accredited outfit. The ideal applicant will be able to hit the ground running and will be confident in working self-sufficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to join an independent outfit, and support their ongoing development. Our client is offering attractive basic salaries and comprehensive benefits packages for the successful individual.

Experience / Qualifications

• Strong track record working as an Asbestos Quality / Technical Manager
• Fully conversant in UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
• Will hold BOHS / RSPH modules (i.e. P401, P402, P403, P404 and / or P405)
• It would be advantageous to hold the CoCa and / or CCP
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role

• Maintaining quality and compliance levels within a UKAS accredited Asbestos company
• Modifying and implementing improvements to quality processes
• Auditing on completed works to ensure compliance
• Successfully maintaining UKAS accreditation within the department
• Thoroughly investigating non-compliances and implementing preventative measures to avoid repetitionInducting and training new staff members
• Meeting with clients to discuss their requirements and provide technical advice
• Overseeing a team of technical staff
• Completing regular service reports
• Performing auditing on external training schemes
• Maintaining own personal technical knowledge
