Job description

Asbestos Operative

We are currently seeking an Asbestos Operative to join our dedicated team in Birmingham.

Pay and Benefits

• Basic salary: £133.90 per day
• Benefits: Mobile phone, uniform, RI Rewards
• Work‑life balance: Full‑time, permanent role, Monday to Friday (40 hr week), with potential for up to 50 hours on certain projects
• Industry‑leading training to support our customers' asbestos needs

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning within the Utilities Sector
• Adhere strictly to issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines
• Follow directives from the Asbestos Removal Supervisor
• Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided PPE, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and asbestos removal plant and equipment, immediately reporting any malfunctions or defects
