Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking an Asbestos Supervisor to cover the Midlands across multiple sites, delivering leadership and excellent customer service in person.

The role oversees asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning with strict adherence to plans, legislation, and safety guidelines. A minimum of 1 year in asbestos supervisory work, a UK driving licence, and asbestos awareness training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in asbestos removal and supervisory roles.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Asbestos Awareness training completed.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and directing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning operations within the Utilities Sector.
• Ensuring adherence to Plans of Work, current UK legislation, specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd SOPs and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Providing guidance and leadership to the Asbestos Removal Operatives.
• Monitoring the usage, maintenance, and care of PPE, RPE, and asbestos removal plant/equipment, and addressing malfunctions or defects.

The Role

Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing and directing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning operations within the Utilities Sector.
• Ensuring strict adherence to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Providing guidance and leadership to the Asbestos Removal Operatives.
• Monitoring the proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, and promptly addressing any malfunctions or defects.
