Job summary

Rentokil Initial plc (DCUK) is seeking an Asbestos Supervisor to cover the Midlands, overseeing removal, encapsulation and environmental cleaning across sites. The role emphasizes leadership, safety compliance and client service across the Utilities sector.

The successful candidate will guide operatives, ensure PPE and equipment are properly used, and maintain strict adherence to plans, UK legislation and company SOPs. A UK driving licence and asbestos awareness training are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum working in an asbestos removal and supervisory environment.
• Full UK Drivers Licence.
• Asbestos Awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and directing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning operations within the Utilities Sector.
• Ensuring strict adherence to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Providing guidance and leadership to the Asbestos Removal Operatives.
• Monitoring the proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, and promptly addressing any malfunctions or defects.
