Job summary

DCUK, part of the Rentokil Initial Group, seeks an Asbestos Supervisor to oversee removal and environmental cleaning across Midlands sites.

You will lead Asbestos Removal Operatives, ensure adherence to Plans of Work and current UK legislation, and uphold HSE guidelines while maintaining PPE, equipment, and safety procedures to protect workers and the public. This is a full-time, permanent role with opportunities for progression and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Experience in site supervision within facilities/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations related to asbestos.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate operations.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and directing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning operations within the Utilities Sector.
• Ensuring strict adherence to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Providing guidance and leadership to the Asbestos Removal Operatives.
• Monitoring the proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, and promptly addressing any malfunctions or defects.

The Role
