Job summary

EDP is seeking a Senior Asbestos Consultant to join our Bristol/Southwest UK team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality asbestos consultancy across sectors, with hybrid work combining on-site and occasional office/home working and a strong emphasis on client-facing services.

The successful candidate will conduct surveys, reinspections, bulk sampling, air monitoring, and issue Certificates of Re-occupation.

Qualifications

• BOHS P-Certifications or Equivalent.
• UKAS-accredited asbestos experience: 12+ months.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
• Flexibility to work weekends/unsocial hours.

Responsibilities

• Conducting asbestos surveys, reinspections, and bulk sampling.
• Air monitoring and issuing Certificates of Re-occupation & Statements of Cleanliness.
• Advising clients on compliance, regulations, and remediation.
• Producing clear, accurate reports and quality documentation.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring service excellence.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a proactive, client-focused professional who thrives in a team and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

• Relevant BOHS P-Certifications or Equivalent
• At least 12 months of UKAS-accredited experience
• Full manual UK driving license and willingness to travel
• Flexibility to work weekends/unsocial hours as needed
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable using handheld devices and MS Office tools
