Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced Asbestos Compliance Surveyor to join the Compliance & Risk Delivery team. You will deliver asbestos management surveys, support the asbestos compliance programme and advise property teams across a diverse estate.

Ideal candidates will have P402/P405 qualifications, hands-on survey experience, and a strong grasp of asbestos legislation. A proactive, collaborative team player with strong communication skills is essential.

Qualifications

• P402 Asbestos Surveying knowledge and practical surveying experience.
• P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings knowledge and practical application.
• Experience undertaking asbestos surveys and inspections.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience providing advice to clients, contractors and project teams.
• Proactive, organised and customer-focused approach.
• Genuine team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Delivering asbestos management surveys and re-inspections across the Council's estate.
• Supporting the management and delivery of the asbestos compliance programme.
• Maintaining and developing asbestos records and management systems.
• Providing professional advice to property teams, building managers and contractors.
• Supporting capital projects by identifying and managing asbestos risks.
• Assisting with asbestos-related remedial programmes and project delivery.
• Promoting good asbestos management practices across the organisation.
• Delivering asbestos awareness advice and guidance where required.
