Asbestos Analyst – Worcester, West Midlands

£33,000 – £37,000 including a Full Benefits Package

The role primarily involves commercial work, including banks, hospitals, and schools, with approximately 20% of work on domestic sites. Travel time of up to one hour is unpaid, but overtime on weekends is paid door-to-door.

Successful Asbestos Analyst will possess:

• BOHS P403 + P404/RSPH3 certification with a minimum of 12 months field experience
• A full UK driving license is desirable but not essential
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and HSG248 ‘The Analyst Guide’ related to asbestos
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Duties of an Asbestos Analyst:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through effective communication
• Collaborating with internal staff to foster a resourceful team environment
• Carrying out all four stages of asbestos assessment: clearance, background, smoke, visual, re-occupation, personal air testing, and leak reassurance
• Preparing accurate asbestos reports based on collected data
