Position Purpose:

The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). They utilize various tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture within the store.

Additional responsibilities include:

1. Preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries.
2. Preserving evidence and interacting with law enforcement.
3. Testifying in criminal and civil court actions.
4. Reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
5. Carrying out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes injury risks to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
6. Demonstrating integrity at all times and responding to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates.
7. Remaining focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
