Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join its ASB service within the Housing team. You will triage new ASB reports, assess situations, and develop action plans to investigate, manage risks, and support those affected.

You’ll handle varied ASB caseloads, gather evidence, and take appropriate action, including legal remedies. The role is fixed-term until April 2027, full-time (35 hours/week), hybrid with around two days in the office, based at the Farringdon office,

  • Keep meticulous records of all actions, discussions, and decisions.

Job description

We’re looking for an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join our leading Anti-Social Behaviour service in the Housing team here at Southern Housing.

Reporting to the ASB Manager, you’ll deliver excellent service to residents affected by ASB. You’ll triage new ASB reports, assess situations, and create action plans to investigate, manage risks, and support those affected. You’ll manage a varied ASB caseload, investigate incidents, evaluate evidence, and take appropriate action, including legal remedies. You’ll also contribute to neighbourhood strategies to tackle ASB.

  • Completing risk assessments and dynamically assess situations to tackle ASB and support complainants.
  • Investigating reports of nuisance, harassment, and anti-social behaviour (and occasionally domestic abuse), and determine appropriate actions.
  • Deciding on additional measures for evidence gathering, such as sound recording and CCTV.
  • Maintaining high standards of case management and support teams through supervision.
  • Keeping meticulous records of all actions, discussions, and decisions.

This is a fixed-term contract until April 2027. The role is a full‑time opportunity, working 35 hours per week on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will be based at our Farringdon office, Fleet House, with flexible hybrid working and an expectation of around two days per week in the office.
