Sandwell Council is recruiting an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officer to join a borough-wide team responsible for managing cases from first report through to resolution. This fixed-term role covers a youth and adult safeguarding-focused service with a mix of community and tenancy-led cases, requiring trauma-informed, victim-centred practice and robust enforcement where appropriate.

You will carry a varied caseload, conduct risk assessments, gather evidence, and work with police, housing

Responsabilités

• Complete proportionate risk assessments and develop safety and reassurance plans.
• Manage cases end to end, from intake through to closure.
• Gather evidence, take statements and seek subject representations.
• Deliver early interventions, restorative approaches and tenancy remedies.
• Prepare legal bundles and attend court where required.
• Contribute to Borough and Town tasking meetings, hotspot activity and visible community outcomes.
• Work closely with Police, Registered Providers and other partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate and defensible case records in line with statutory guidance and best practice.
