Job summary

Qualifications

• QTS with a relevant Art, Digital Media or related specialism.
• Experience teaching Art within a secondary school environment.
• Knowledge of GCSE Art and Photography, with AQA course knowledge desirable.
• Skills or experience within iMedia and/or Design and Technology desirable.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• A creative, collaborative approach with a commitment to safeguarding and raising student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess and monitor students to maximise progress.
• Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum, including GCSE Art and Photography.
• Provide opportunities across iMedia and KS3 / Design and Technology.
