Person Specification
Education, Qualifications & Training
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse/OT/Social Worker, Valid Registration with the appropriate professional body e.g., NMC/SWE/HCPC
Experience
  • Relevant experience working with clients with psychosis in Adult and/or CAMHs services
  • Knowledge of current primary care issues
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
  • Able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care.
  • The ability to: prioritize & meet deadlines; organize work of self and others; supervise, teach & assess; be self-motivated with the ability to motivate others; effective resource management.
  • Skills in managing complex cases.
  • Understanding of current policy and guidance relating to Early Intervention in Psychosis services.
Personal Qualities/Attributes
  • Able to communicate effectively at different levels of the organization and with staff, patient/service users, visitors, or external organizations, both verbally and in writing, in the exchange of highly complex, sensitive, or contentious information, which may require negotiating and/or persuasive skills.
  • Able to analyze and assess situations and interpret potentially conflicting situations to determine appropriate action, where a range of options and judgment are required.
  • Able to overcome barriers to understanding where there are physical or mental disabilities.
