About the role:

Argos Shift Managers are responsible for managing shifts within our Argos stores, inspiring and motivating teams, and providing on-the-job support. They coach colleagues to ensure excellent customer service while working alongside the team. They often lead the full store operation in the absence of the Store Manager, managing tasks such as organizing the warehouse, taking deliveries, and serving customers. They are experts in our products and services, focusing on driving sales and profitability.

• Experience in organizing, running, and planning for a fast-paced operation.
• Comfortable directing a team, providing coaching, and offering on-the-spot guidance to support excellent experiences for colleagues and customers.
• Support the Store Manager in ensuring the store is safe and compliant.
• Strong commercial awareness, including product knowledge, to understand customer needs and drive sales.
• Ability to work towards and achieve KPIs to increase store profitability.
