We are now looking for an Area Team Leader to join our multi-disciplined and busy maintenance team.

The Opportunity:

Maintenance Services currently employ a mix of 90+ trades, semi-skilled, and trade apprentice staff within its department who are responsible for the service and repair of over 500 buildings within the University of Edinburgh estate.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Team Leader to join the existing team. This role reports directly to the Deputy Maintenance Services Manager (Reactive) and is one of six team leader roles responsible for delivering both reactive and planned maintenance across campus locations. The post-holder will manage a team of multi-skilled craftspeople and will be able to build excellent rapport with key contacts across the estate.

You will be joining a team that provides exceptional customer service to an expanding, world-class estate and will thrive in a high-paced, demanding environment.

• Experience supervising or managing multi-skilled trades teams within a complex estate.
• A proven track record of meeting performance standards and managing shortfalls.

• Experience in planning and delivering workloads for others and meeting critical deadlines.
