Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking an Area Support Officer to provide security across client premises in and around Sheffield. You will patrol sites, monitor access, report incidents, and support various contracts with a professional security presence.

Candidates must hold a valid SIA DS licence, be a driver with own vehicle, and be willing to travel. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work in retail environments and under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Driver with access to own vehicle.
• Willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Willing to work within retail environments.
• Flexible and may be assigned to other duties/contracts.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit for the tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and escalate as needed.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.

Pay Rate - £12.71

Location - Sheffield

Shift Timings - Must be available to workboth day and night shifts, including weekends, and be willing to travel reasonable distances as required.
