Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking reliable Area Support Officers to secure client premises and retail sites in Hull. The role requires travel between sites, day and night shifts, and a proactive security presence.

Offering a pathway to permanent placement after 12 weeks, the package includes benefits such as private healthcare, life cover, pension, cycle to work, and ongoing training. A valid SIA DS licence and a driving license are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Must be willing to work within retail environments.
• Must be flexible and understand that they may also be assigned to other duties and contracts where required.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and travel between sites.

Pay Rate - £12.71

Location - Hull

Shift Timings - Must be available to workboth day and night shifts, including weekends, and be willing to travel reasonable distances as required.
