Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting Area Support Officers for roles based in Great Yarmouth. The job involves patrolling client premises, maintaining a strong security presence and travelling between sites as required.

Candidates must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence, be a driver with their own vehicle, and be prepared to work day and night shifts including weekends. After 12 weeks, there is potential for transfer to a permanent position with extensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence or equivalent.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain composed in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and escalate issues as needed.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.

Shift Timings - Must be available to workboth day and night shifts, including weekends, and be willing to travel reasonable distances as required.
