BardWood Support Services is seeking an Area Support Officer to provide security across multiple client premises in Cardiff. You will rotate across sites, performing regular patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

The role requires a valid SIA DS licence, a driving licence with access to a personal vehicle, and the flexibility to travel and work day/night shifts including weekends.

Formación

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Must be willing to work within retail environments.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and elevate issues when required.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.

About the role

Title - Area support officer

Pay Rate - £12.71

Location - Cardiff

Shift Timings - Must be available to workboth day and night shifts, including weekends, and be willing to travel reasonable distances as required.
