Job summary

BardWood Support Services in Cambridge is seeking reliable Area Support Officers to secure client premises and retail sites. You will patrol, monitor access, report incidents, and travel between sites, with day, night and weekend shifts.

We value flexibility and physical fitness, and you may transfer to a client on a permanent basis after 12 weeks, with competitive benefits and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Driver with access to own vehicle.
• Willing to travel reasonable distances as required.
• Willing to work within retail environments.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and escape issues when required.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.

Pay Rate – £12.71

Location – Cambridge

Shift Timings – Must be available to workboth day and night shifts, including weekends, and be willing to travel reasonable distances as required.
