What will I be doing?

1. Ensuring the Drivers are managed effectively and ensuring the working hours are managed, ensuring information is provided to payroll to ensure that staff are paid correctly.
2. Maintaining budgetary control over operations and ordering equipment and resources as necessary for your role.
3. You will be the main CPC holder for the operation and responsible for ensuring that the operation complies with the Operator Licence.
4. Ensuring all records on sites are up to date and maintained in accordance with policies, procedures, and legislation, including training records, safe working procedures, and risk assessments.

What are the requirements?

1. Working as part of a team, you must have a qualification in national/international CPC in road haulage with experience and the ability to collaborate with the wider team to improve the contract.
2. A good understanding of H&S and Environmental requirements in the workplace, with the ability to produce risk assessments and standard operating procedures.
3. You must be able to work to deadlines and be proactive in managing the day-to-day requirements of the role.
4. Experience in the waste industry is desirable but not essential.
