Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the South West region, including Gloucester. The role focuses on selling scaffolding and related safety products to main and civils contractors, with a mix of field visits and one Bristol office day.

Ideal candidates have construction field sales experience, strong contractor contacts, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. The position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling scaffolding, fences, groundworks, edge protection, safety and light access products.
• Selling into main contractors, civils contractors, ground workers, housebuilders and utility contractors.
• Four days on the road, typically eight calls per day, one day in Bristol office.
• Target to achieve £400 per week of hire and £20,000 of sales per week.
• Work as part of a two person field sales team from Bristol depot.
• Engage in new business development and follow up leads from depot, LinkedIn, and Glenigans.
• Shadow an experienced Regional Sales Manager during first 2‑3 months.

Area Sales Manager Scaffolding

Industry Sector: Scaffold, Scaffolding, Scaffolding Services, Fencing, Groundworks, Edge Protection, Safety and Light Access Products, Specialist Contractor, Utility Contractors, Building Contractor, Main Contractor, Sub Contractor, Housing Developer, Housebuilders and Local Authorities

Area to be covered: South West (Bristol, Bath, Weston‑Super‑Mare, Gloucester, Cheltenham)

Remuneration: £35,000‑£45,000 Neg. + £8,000 uncapped Bonus

Responsibilities

• Field sales position, selling scaffolding, fences, groundworks, edge protection, safety and light access products
• Selling into main contractors, civils contractors, ground workers, housebuilders and utility contractors
• 4 days a week on the road, typically 8 calls per day, 1 day working from our clients Bristol office
• Targeted to achieve £400 per week of hire and £20,000 of sales per week
• Working as part of a 2 person field sales team from Bristol depot
• New business development role
• Following up on leads from the depot, LinkedIn and Glenigans leads
• Initially shadowing an experienced Regional Sales Manager (first 2‑3 months)
