The role involves planning sales cycles, conducting calls, and visiting clients in the Manchester area. Due to internal progression, a UK manufacturer of capital machinery has an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join their established team. You will promote product ranges to both prospect and existing clients throughout the designated sales area (Manchester/North West and M46 Corridor):
The ideal candidate will demonstrate successful sales experience with capital machinery, material handling systems, or tooling, and possess a strong engineering/technical mindset. A positive, proactive, and determined approach to sales is essential. Excellent communication skills, confidence, and a friendly manner are required for sales calls and presentations. Initial training will be provided at Head Office in Northamptonshire over the first two weeks.
This role is suitable for those with experience in Field Sales, Sales Engineering, or as a Field Account Manager.
