KMC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager for a leading power solutions provider in the South East of the UK. You will develop new business opportunities, manage key customer relationships, and promote large power generation hire for industrial facilities, data centres, and shore power projects.

This role requires a proven track record in area sales or business development, with familiarity in 200–2,000 kVA generators.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Area Sales Manager or Business Development role.
• Strong background in large power generation hire, particularly generators in the 200–2,000 kVA range.
• Experience selling into industrial sectors, data centres, and/or shore power markets.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new business opportunities across the South East region.
• Manage and expand relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
• Promote large power generation hire solutions for industrial facilities, data centres, and shore power applications.
• Identify customer requirements and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales opportunities.
• Work with internal teams to ensure excellent service and project delivery.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor activity.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.
