Job summary

Scarlet Selection is seeking a skilled field sales professional to cover Scotland and parts of the North in a consultative sales role targeting government departments and contractors.

You will inherit an established account base, grow these accounts and win new business. You will prepare quotes, book appointments, and visit customers on a call plan across a very large area, while being well organised and time-conscious. You can work from home on Mondays and Fridays and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years field sales experience.
• Ideally selling a product rather than a service.
• Be professional and friendly.
• Able to prioritise work responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a National sales team and grow the established account base in the area.
• Win new business and develop accounts.
• Prepare quotes for customers and book appointments for outreach days, visiting customers on a call plan.

Basic Salary £44,400 OTE £54,000. Includes car, excellent benefits, 25 days holidays, bank holidays.

Location

Covering Scotland and part of the North; ideally located across the central Scotland belt.

Opportunity

Opportunity to work for a well established manufacturer of premium products who sell to a wide range of industries. This role is a consultative sales role selling into government departments and their contractors.

Responsibilities

Working as part of a National sales team you will inherit an established account base in this area, grow and develop these accounts, win new business. Working from home on Mondays and Fridays you will prepare quotes for customers, book appointments for the remaining days, and visit customers on a call plan. This is a very large area, so you need to be well organised and have excellent time management skills.

Qualifications

A suitable applicant has a minimum of 3 years field sales experience and ideally experience selling a product rather than a service. You should be professional and friendly and able to prioritise work responsibilities.
