First Military Recruitment is representing a client seeking an Area Safety Manager in the Birmingham region. The role requires minimum 3 years in building/construction, NEBOSH Construction, and a White CSCS Card. You will lead safety reporting, advise on regulations and deliver safety training.

The position covers the Midlands, Wales, Manchester and the South West with site visits and ongoing liaison with HSE bodies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience of building/construction industry.
• NEBOSH Construction certification is required.
• White CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and submit quarterly Health & Safety reports to the Managing Director.
• Coordinate, interpret and present Health & Safety statistics.
• Provide advice on the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and related regulations.
• Advise management on safety policies, risk assessments and quality plans.
• Keep up to date with HSE guidance and changes in legislation.
