Job summary
AWI Civitas in Birmingham seeks an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead safety across construction projects in the Midlands. You will drive compliance with CDM regulations, deliver risk assessments, and advise site teams to maintain high safety standards.
The role requires NEBOSH Construction Certificate, proven HSE management experience, and driving licence. You will coordinate on-site safety training and promote a strong safety culture across projects.

- GradIOSH.
- CMIOSH.
- SMSTS.
Responsibilities
- Manage health and safety requirements across construction projects.
- Monitor site compliance.
- Carry out inspections and audits.
- Identify hazards and assess risks.
- Advise project and site teams.
- Support the development and review of RAMS.
- Investigate incidents and near misses.
- Monitor compliance with CDM requirements.
- Provide health and safety training and guidance.
- Maintain accurate health and safety records.
- Promote a positive safety culture.
