Job summary

G4S is seeking an Area Relief Officer to cover multiple sites around Liverpool and the Wirral. You will support security across varied locations with high standards of safety and customer service. Training and career development are offered.

Role includes greetings, access control, patrolling, incident reporting, and ensuring adherence to security procedures. A full UK driving licence is required; SIA licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18+ and able to communicate confidently.
• Good IT understanding and ability to follow security protocols.
• SIA licence beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet staff and visitors professionally.
• Manage gatehouse access and egress.
• Patrol premises, report incidents with forms.

Job description

We are currently recruiting a full-time permanent

Area Relief Officer to work across a collection of

prestigious sites in and around Liverpool and the Wirral.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to work across a range of varied locations, with a high standard of security needing to be met at all times. If you are in the security industry or are looking for a career change, then this would be the perfect for you! We will offer on-site training, as well as career development too.

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £13.55 per hour

Hours: 42 hours per week minimum

Shifts: Day, nights and weekends

Your Time at Work

As an Area Relief Officer, a typical week will involve ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. Other elements of the role will include:

• Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
• Gatehouse duties - access and egress control
• Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside
• Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

A good understanding of IT is required and as mentioned before, whilst it would be a benefit to have some previous security experience together with your SIA license.

Please note, this role does require a Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle.
