Job summary

Country Court is seeking an Area Minibus Driver to cover our Homes in Selwood, Castle lodge, Westbury & Chippenham. The role involves planning routes with each Home to ensure residents are transported safely and comfortably.

You will drive between homes, with the vehicle based at a designated home, and may cover additional days as required. Excellent benefits, training, and a supportive, family-run environment await.

Qualifications

• Friendly and caring attitude toward residents.
• Able to engage well with residents and families.
• Genuine enthusiasm for driving.
• Understanding of people with Dementia.
• Care industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Age 25+ with FULL UK Driving Licence for 2+ years with category D1 and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to our residents.
• Make sure residents are safe and comfortable on the journeys.
• Responsible for the upkeep & maintenance of the Minibus & reporting any issues
• Keep the minibus clean & tidy and to a high standard.

ABOUT THE MINIBUS DRIVER ROLE

Our minibus drivers will have several local Homes to drive for, planning effectively with each Home to maximise its use in a fair and agreeable rota, helping our Residents move to and from their destination with ease. The vehicle will be based at one of the homes. You may also be needed to cover other days of the week on occasions.

• Provide excellent customer service to our residents.
• Make sure our residents are safe and comfortable on the journeys.
• Responsible for the upkeep & maintenance of the Minibus & reporting any issues
• Keep the minibus clean & tidy and to a high standard.
