Job summary

Bristol Care Homes seeks a dedicated Minibus Driver to transport residents to activities from Quarry House, Fishponds. You will ensure safe boarding and securement of passengers and wheelchairs on the minibus, working with Activities staff to deliver reliable transport.

Applicants should have a PCV licence, Tachograph card and up-to-date CPC training; age 25+ is required. DBS check will be carried out; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold PCV licence and Tachograph card.
• Up-to-date CPC training.
• Experience in the role would be an advantage.
• MiDAS training would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for residents to offsite activities.
• Assist with boarding and securing residents and wheelchairs on the minibus.
• Carry out other tasks as requested by the Activities staff.

Responsibilities and duties for the Minibus Driver role are:

• Working alongside the Activities staff to provide safe transportation for our residents to offsite activities
• Safe boarding, and securing of residents and their wheelchairs on the minibus
• Working alongside the Activities staff to provide safe transportation
• Assisting with any other tasks as requested

Requirements for the Minibus Driver role:

• Up to date CPC training
• Must be at least 25 years old and hold a PCV licence and Tachograph card
• Previous experience in the role would be an advantage

Although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be an advantage:

• Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment.
• MiDAS training

PAY

From £13.45 to £13.90 per hour DOE

HOURS

24 hours per week
