Job summary

Bristol Care Homes is seeking a Minibus Driver to transport residents safely to offsite activities from Quarry House, Fishponds. A PCV licence and Tachograph card are essential, with up-to-date CPC training preferred. You will work with Activities staff to ensure safe boarding and securement of wheelchairs on the minibus.

Responsibilities and duties

• Working alongside the Activities staff to provide safe transportation for our residents to offsite activities
• Safe boarding, and securing of residents and their wheelchairs on the minibus
• Working alongside the Activities staff to provide safe transportation
• Assisting with any other tasks as requested

Requirements for the Minibus Driver role

• Up to date CPC training
• Must be at least 25 years old and hold a PCV licence and Tachograph card
• Previous experience in the role would be an advantage

Although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be an advantage

• Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment.
• MiDAS training

PAY

From £13.45 to £13.90 per hour DOE

HOURS

24 hours per week
