Job summary

Country Court is seeking an Area Minibus Driver to cover our Homes in Selwood, Castle Lodge, Westbury & Chippenham. You will plan efficient routes to move residents safely between sites, with the vehicle based at a home and occasional cross-day coverage.

The role requires strong customer service, safe driving, and upkeep of vehicles. Applicants should be over 25 with a full UK Driving Licence for 2+ years including D1, and have an empathetic, patient approach.

• Able to engage well with residents and their families
• Have a genuine enthusiasm for driving
• Have an understanding of people with Dementia
• Experience in the care industry is preferred but not essential
• For insurance reasons, drivers must be over 25 and hold a FULL UK Driving Licence for 2+ years including D1

ABOUT THE MINIBUS DRIVER ROLE

Our minibus drivers will have several local Homes to drive for, planning effectively with each Home to maximise its use in a fair and agreeable rota, helping our Residents move to and from their destination with ease. The vehicle will be based at one of the homes. You may also be needed to cover other days of the week on occasions.

• Provide excellent customer service to our residents.
• Make sure our residents are safe and comfortable on the journeys.
• Responsible for the upkeep & maintenance of the Minibus & reporting any issues
• Keep the minibus clean & tidy and to a high standard.
