Greene King Community Pubs is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a diverse group of pubs, developing General Managers and driving strong commercial results. You will balance numbers with people, ensuring high standards, guest satisfaction and safe operations across your area.

You will coach and empower teams, explore growth opportunities, and stay hands-on with visits to individual pubs to keep communication open and culture positive.

Formación

• Proven leadership experience across multiple hospitality businesses or significant operational leadership with multi-site capability.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate insight into action.
• Genuine passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
• Confident decision-maker with an adaptable, resilient approach.
• Collaborative leadership style that builds trust and strong relationships.
• Understands the importance of guest experience and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and inspire General Managers, providing coaching, confidence and support to run successful pubs.
• Drive commercial performance by identifying opportunities to grow sales and profitability.
• Build and nurture high-performing teams, support progression and retention.
• Regularly visit pubs, understand the business, and stay visible to teams.
• Bring fresh ideas to improve performance and guest experiences.
• Take ownership of standards, safety and guest experience across pubs.
• Collaborate with support teams to ensure pubs have what they need to succeed.
