Job summary

Greene King, the country's leading pub company and brewer, is seeking an Area Manager for its Community brand in the UK. You will lead and grow your teams, oversee a collection of pubs, and implement innovative ideas while balancing customer needs.

You will engage with support teams, identify talent across FOH/BOH, and drive progression while ensuring safety, legality, and quality across venues. A strategic mindset and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading pub or hospitality teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build solid partnerships with all support teams to guarantee pubs have the finest levels of assistance and expertise.
• Engage with FOH and BOH teams to identify outstanding talent and support internal role progressions.
• Understand and manage the team as individuals, learning how to maximise their potential and support them.
• Ensure all pubs are safe, legal, and clean and deal with issues promptly.
• Take ownership and achieve goals by evaluating success using the balanced scorecard and KPIs.
