McCarthy Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a portfolio of locations across the South West, based in Bath. You will take ownership of commercial and operational performance, shaping results through strong leadership and hands-on management across multiple sites.

You'll coach managers, drive performance improvements and ensure consistency across locations. This role offers genuine responsibility, autonomy, and a clear path to developing senior teams within a large UK

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site leadership experience.
• Strong track record of improving operational and commercial performance.
• Experience coaching, developing and challenging managers.
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with performance data.
• Visible, hands-on leadership style.
• Confidence to make decisions and take ownership.
• Resilience and ability to operate at pace.
• Ability to balance immediate priorities with longer-term improvement.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, leisure, logistics or other fast-paced multi-site environments.
